Parent to Parent: Fall 2018

Series Description

Parent to Parent is a FREE and unique, 5 week training series in which trained parent coaches offer their experiences and education to support families who are raising a child with an ASD.
As Parents navigate the systems of care for their child with ASD, they find comfort and support from other families living with Autism. 
Parent to Parent was created from this concept. Parent coaches work to educate and support families as they begin their journey in learning about and living with Autism.

Five Week Series

Week 1: Understanding ASD - October 2
Week 2: Communication - October 9
Week 3: Visusal Supports - October 16
Week 4: Visual Supports in Practice - October 23
Week 5: Positive Advocacy - October 30

To accomodate parents/caregivers busy schedules we are offering this class during the Day and Evening.
Attendees may choose either the Daytime session or Evening session
Day Session: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - or - Evening Session: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Individuals who need sign language interpreter/C.A.R.T. services or other assisted listening devices for effective participation in training are asked to make these needs known at least three weeks before the training.
