Children's Programming

The Autism Project of Rhode Island offers a full array of social skills groups for children and teens with an autism spectrum disorder of all abilities.

Groups are offered during the school year and on a limited basis during the summer. Group participants are encouraged to attend Camp Move, Think, Create and Communicate offered during the summer.

Each group is designed to maximize a child or teen's participation in the group's activities. It is also our goal that participants learn the skills to be included as independently as they can be.

Please read the program descriptions to determine the best fit for your child. We will take your request into consideration, however, final placement of all participants will be determined by APRI staff based upon each class make up and the child's abilities. Placement may be adjusted following the first and/or second week of programs to ensure the best fit for all participants.

Check the website for updates on series schedules and programs being offered.
