The Autism Project is hosting the "Bidder-Sweet” Auction for Autism on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the West Valley Inn, West Warwick, RI. The event promises a lively evening with good food, a casual atmosphere and lots of great items for auction. All proceeds raised at this event will be used for programs to support individuals with autism and their families.
Bidder-Sweet is not your ordinary fundraiser; some of the highlights include dinner, more than 200 auction items and a Chocolate Tasting donated by some of Rhode Island’s top chocolatiers. This is a new event for us based on the success of our annual gala but scaled down to be relevant to our changing economy.
As always this event helps us guarantee continuance and expansion of our programs such as our summer camp Move, Think, Create, Communicate- a safe, and fun camp environment where every child who attends receives a scholarship; Starting Point- a specialized training designed to educate parents, early child educators and home-based therapy service providers; and our various after-school programs designed exclusively for children and teens with Autism. The event begins at 7:00PM and tickets are $35.00. Tables of 10 are $300.00 if purchased prior to 9/30/10.
