Join Team TAP at the 2017 Pell Bridge Run!
Calling all runners and walkers! The Autism Project would like to invite you to run or walk at this year's 2017 Pell Bridge Run as part of Team TAP! The primary goal of the Pell Bridge Run is to raise funds for local non-profits, and The Autism Project is thrilled to be participating this year! This is TAP's first year participating in the Pell Bridge Run, and we need YOUR HELP to make it a success! You can help by running, donating, and/or fundraising for TAP!
Your participation will truly make a difference for the families living with autism that we serve. Please share this event with any of your fellow runners, walkers, friends, and family members. And THANK YOU in advance for your support!

Distance: 4 mile run/walk. Must be able to do three miles in an hour pace.
When: The race will be held on Sunday October 22, 2017 at 7:15 a.m.
Where: Race starts in Jamestown and ends in Downtown Newport.
Entry Fees: May 1 - July 31 $45.00, August 1 - September 30 $50.00, October 1 - October 19 $55.00, Onsite (10/20 - 10/21) $65.00
*The entry fee includes shuttle transportation, an official event shirt and finish line food and beverage. Although additional charitable fundraising is appreciated, no additional fundraising is required to participate in the run/walk.
Waves: Runners and walkers will be asked to organize by pace time with elite runners going off first and walkers going last. All participants will be asked to align themselves by the appropriate pace to ensure a smooth race. There will be volunteers and members of the race staff assisting with the pacing process. * First Wave (7:15AM): 9 minute pace and faster * Second Wave (7:18AM): 9 to 11 minute pace * Third Wave (7:22AM): 11 to 14 minute pace * Fourth Wave (7:27AM): 15 minute pace and slower
Parking and Shuttles:
Parking: There is NO PARKING at the race start in Jamestown. Free parking will be available at the Newport Gateway Visitors Center (23 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840) until 9:30 AM. All athletes must use the shuttles from Newport or be dropped off at the designated athlete drop off locations.
Shuttles: Shuttles will run from the Newport Visitors Center (23 America's Cup Ave, Newport, RI 02840) in Downtown Newport to the race starting line in Jamestown beginning at 5:30 a.m.
Drop Off Location: Athletes wishing to be dropped off near the starting line coming from Newport will take the East Shore Rd exit just after the toll plaza and head north on East Shore Road until they arrive at the designated drop off location.
Athletes coming from the West Bay will take the first exit in Jamestown and follow signage to the designated drop-off location. NO PEDESTRIANS ARE ALLOWED TO EXIT THEIR VEHICLES ON Route 138.
