Parent Support Resources
Parent ASD Resource Specialist
The Autism Project was built on the collaboration of parents and professionals working to improve the quality of life of people with autism spectrum disorders, their families and caregivers, and the many professionals working each and every day to teach them, support them and expand their leisure time activities.
We remain committed to helping our families. One of the most important parts of our team is our Parent ASD Resource Specialist. Nothing can replace the connection made between a new parent and one who has experience, resources and help to offer, and time to just listen and reassure.
Parents, caregivers, grandparents, and siblings are encouraged to make an appointment with our Specialist, Sue Baylis whether your child is newly diagnosed, approaching a big transition or struggling to maintain employment. Sue and our team will work to offer up-to-date resources and support as you work through the details.
Autism and related disabilities can create a sense of isolation for many. It is our goal to keep the lines -open for you to reach out for help or a good listener to get through a tough patch.
